series.AHthesearespreadingamisleadingmessage-thesurvivalofthe

prettiest.Asthejobmarketgrowsincreasinglytight,manystudentsbecome

convincedthatgoodlooksareofoverwhelmingimportance.Theyresortto

plasticsurgeriesandexpensiveclothesandmake-uptobuilduptheir

confidence.Theypackagetheirappearancebeforegoingtoaninterview,in

thehopethatanattractiveappearancewillimpresstheinterviewerandmake

themstandoutamongnumerousapplicants.Ifstruethatbeautyisamarketing

toolthatcanopendoorsoccasionally,butitdoesn'tfollowthatanattractive

committed,competentemployeesthatproduceprofits.Ifyoureallywantto

mythofbeauty.Oursocietyshouldplacemorevalueonintelligenceand

character.Boththemassmediaandeducatorsshouldhelpmakethemisguided

studentsrealizethattherichnessofmindisultimatelymorevaluablethan

goodlooks.
