mouth,wasbroughttothetable,toseewhatobjectshewouldpickupfirst.Ifshetakesa

brush,shewillbeanauthoress;ifshegrabsatasaucepan,shewillbeahousewife;ifshe

touchessilk,shewillbeawell-dressedwoman;ifshepicksupafoil,shewillmakeherself

famousasaheroineorachieftain.

Idon'tknowwhatobjectmylittlesisterchose.Judgingbythefactthatsheisnowin

PekingUniversity,andshowsagreatdealofinterestinliterature,shemusthavechosena

brushorabook.However,shewasanieceoftwoteachers.Somanybooksandsomuch
