1調(diào)整教學(xué)方法

學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣與教師的教學(xué)方法有密切的關(guān)系，因此，在英語教學(xué)中，首先要改進(jìn)和探索詞匯教學(xué)的方法。

要過好語音關(guān)。要求學(xué)生把每一個音標(biāo)發(fā)準(zhǔn)確，尤其對于初學(xué)者，不能急于求成，每節(jié)課當(dāng)中，保證每一位學(xué)生都有開口的機(jī)會。為了喚起學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)語音的興趣，教師可以創(chuàng)設(shè)一些情境以輔助教學(xué)效果。例如

（1）激勵性教學(xué)。爭先好勝、表現(xiàn)欲強(qiáng)是初中學(xué)生的特點。根據(jù)這一特點，課堂上教師如果用組織競賽的方式進(jìn)行語音教學(xué)，這樣不僅使競賽活動成為活躍課堂氣氛的重要手段，而且有助于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣。學(xué)生在初始階段注意力特別集中，人人都想表演一下自己的記憶力，都想為自己的小組盡一份力。這樣既提高了課堂教學(xué)效果，又培養(yǎng)了大家的集體主義精神和競爭意識。因此采用激勵的方法教學(xué)，效果最佳。

（2）鏈條式教學(xué)。在學(xué)字母時，就在每一個字母后面注上音標(biāo)，讓學(xué)生感知音形，同時特別要求學(xué)生熟練掌握五個元音字母在單詞中的準(zhǔn)確讀音及規(guī)則。然后引導(dǎo)學(xué)生注意元音字母組合、輔音字母組合，及一些特殊字母組合的發(fā)音。在此基礎(chǔ)上，慢慢增加單詞的長度和難度，音形結(jié)合，溫故知新，新舊聯(lián)系比較，不斷加深印象，養(yǎng)成良好的拼讀習(xí)慣。這樣不僅幫助學(xué)生逐步解決了發(fā)音問題，而且還培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生自覺學(xué)習(xí)單詞的能力，更為今后詞匯的積累奠定了良好的基礎(chǔ)。

掌握一定數(shù)量的英語單詞。英語“四位一體”教學(xué)法認(rèn)為，我們不能籠統(tǒng)地反對死記硬背，必要的記憶和背誦有助于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)能力。要讓單詞記得快、記得準(zhǔn)、記得牢，必須把機(jī)械記憶與理解記憶結(jié)合起來。機(jī)械記憶就是機(jī)械重復(fù)、反復(fù)記憶。在初級階段，學(xué)生只能機(jī)械記憶。因為，他所學(xué)的詞匯量和英語知識有限，無法進(jìn)行更多的歸納和聯(lián)想。但是幾乎每個學(xué)生都認(rèn)為死記硬背很是枯燥乏味。在不斷的教學(xué)實踐中，我總結(jié)了一些幫助學(xué)生背誦的方法。

（1）瞬時記憶法。在教學(xué)單詞時，先讓學(xué)生仔細(xì)聽，老師范讀。學(xué)生注意聽老師的發(fā)音，并在心里跟著默讀，教師一邊讀一邊在黑板上板書出所讀的單詞，，同時在板書單詞時用彩色粉筆標(biāo)出該詞的字母組合，并重復(fù)幾遍字母組合的發(fā)音，然后教師領(lǐng)著學(xué)生讀幾遍，并說出所學(xué)單詞的意思，最后要求學(xué)生在熟悉每個單詞讀音的基礎(chǔ)上能準(zhǔn)確判斷出每個單詞的中文含義。

每教完一個單詞，給十秒鐘時間讓學(xué)生自已背誦。要求是音讀準(zhǔn)，聲音響亮，反復(fù)拼讀，誰先背會，誰先舉手，時間沒到，嘴巴不停。十秒鐘后，任意抽取一個小組當(dāng)場檢測，以競賽的方式進(jìn)行。這樣既能為學(xué)生學(xué)好語音、語調(diào)打好基礎(chǔ)，又能很好地培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的聽的能力，切忌用漢語來代替單詞的讀音，避免今后學(xué)生音讀不準(zhǔn)，詞記不住。

（2）循序漸進(jìn)法。英語詞匯教學(xué)是一個循序漸進(jìn)的過程。教學(xué)中不但要注重詞匯積累的數(shù)量，更應(yīng)注重記憶的效率，做到逐層加深。每天十個單詞的記憶，不斷循環(huán)反復(fù)，形成習(xí)慣，使同學(xué)們感覺不到背誦是一件枯燥又痛苦的事。通過每天早晨的齊讀，達(dá)到溫故而知新的效果。

為了使單詞更鮮活，使同學(xué)們記憶單詞的時間越長，我們還可以把單詞放在句子，甚至文章當(dāng)中來加以記憶。句子是由詞組成的，我們記憶單詞就是為了更好的使用句子。實踐經(jīng)驗證明，孤立地記憶單詞容易遺忘，必須把單詞放在句子里，根據(jù)上下文了解其意義和用法，這樣記憶的單詞才記得快、記得準(zhǔn)、記得牢，才算的上真正掌握了這個單詞。另外僅記單詞也是不夠的，應(yīng)把詞擴(kuò)展為短語、句型，甚至精彩的段落或短文。以句子為單位記憶單詞還可以幫助我們把握單詞的用法和不同的形式，發(fā)展英語思維能力和英語應(yīng)用能力。孤立地記單詞徒勞無益。如果我們把詞匯的學(xué)習(xí)和語境聯(lián)系起來，記的不是單個的單詞而是整個句子，通過上下文甚至是整篇文章在一起，有利于推動詞匯知識的內(nèi)化和吸收。

注重詞匯的學(xué)習(xí)方法。學(xué)生記憶詞匯的目的就是擴(kuò)大詞匯量，為閱讀英語和運(yùn)用英語打下基礎(chǔ)。在死記硬背的基礎(chǔ)上積累一定詞匯之后，應(yīng)該運(yùn)用不同的方法巧妙地擴(kuò)大詞匯量。以下幾種方法不妨試一試。

（1）構(gòu)詞法。①名詞+y構(gòu)成形容詞，如wind（n）+ywindy（adj）；②動詞+er構(gòu)成名詞，如teach（v）+erteacher（n）；③形容詞+ly構(gòu)成副詞，如slow（adj）+lyslowly（adv）；④在詞上加前綴或后綴，構(gòu)成新詞，如writerewrite，easyuneasy；⑤把兩個或兩個以上的合成一個詞，如black+boardblackboard，ten+year+oldten-year-old。

（2）比較法。比較各詞之間的音形義的異同。①同音異義詞，sun-son，where-wear；②音形相同而意義不同的詞，light（燈），light（輕的）和light（淡色的）；③詞形相同而讀音不同、意義不同，present/’preznt/adj目前的、現(xiàn)存的，n.禮物，present/pri’zent/v.介紹、出席。

（3）分類法。如表示動物一類的詞竄在一起；dog，cat，pig，horse，sheep，bear，cow，tiger，elephant等；有關(guān)人的詞：boy，girl，man，woman，father，mother，son，daughter，teacher，doctor，driver；其它如文具、水果、星期、季節(jié)、月份等都可以分類。

（4）辨析法。對同義詞或詞組進(jìn)行辨析，聯(lián)系起來進(jìn)行記憶，如look（有意識地看），see（無意中看見），watch（強(qiáng)調(diào)所看對象發(fā)出的動作）；listen（to）（有意識地聽），hear（無意中聽見）等。

（5）對比法。①與反義詞作對比進(jìn)行記憶，如young-old，empty-full，bring-take，borrow-lend；②與對稱詞作對比進(jìn)行記憶，如man-woman，walk-run，read-write等。

人的大腦是一個記憶的寶庫。英文學(xué)習(xí)中的單詞、短語和句子，甚至文章的內(nèi)容都是通過記憶完成的。從“記”到“憶”是有個過程的，這其中包括了識記、保持、再認(rèn)和回憶。有很多人在學(xué)習(xí)英語的過程中，只注重了學(xué)習(xí)當(dāng)時的記憶效果，孰不知，要想做好學(xué)習(xí)的記憶工作，是要下一番工夫的，單純的注重當(dāng)時的記憶效果，而忽視了后期的保持和再認(rèn)同樣是達(dá)不到良好的效果的。同時人們在學(xué)習(xí)中的遺忘是有規(guī)律的，遺忘的進(jìn)程不是均衡的，不是固定的一天丟掉幾個，轉(zhuǎn)天又丟幾個的，而是在記憶的最初階段遺忘的速度很快，后來就逐漸減慢了，到了相當(dāng)長的時候后，幾乎就不再遺忘了，這就是遺忘的發(fā)展規(guī)律，即“先快后慢”的原則。所以我們學(xué)得的知識在一天后，如不抓緊復(fù)習(xí)，就只剩下原來的25%，隨著時間的推移，遺忘的速度減慢，遺忘的數(shù)量也就減少。

基于以上推論，在一定程度上，教師的態(tài)度直接影響學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的效果，所以務(wù)必保持積極耐心的態(tài)度，盡量保持微笑教學(xué)。

學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語，感到最困難的是怎樣把詞匯記得快、記得多、記得牢。一方面，記憶詞匯是一個重要的環(huán)節(jié)，教師要把記憶詞匯的方法教給學(xué)生；二方面，又要想方設(shè)法調(diào)動學(xué)生的主觀能動性，把所學(xué)的知識融會貫通，更好地記憶。然而，記憶是有時效性的。在最初識記后的短時間內(nèi)遺忘發(fā)展最快，以后則緩慢遞減。因此，對學(xué)生學(xué)過的詞匯要及時復(fù)習(xí)，反復(fù)通過聽說讀寫等各種形式加深學(xué)生對詞匯的進(jìn)一步理解，鞏固記憶，靈活運(yùn)用。復(fù)習(xí)鞏固，增強(qiáng)記憶詞匯的方法多種多樣，如：從音形義三方面對比新舊單詞異同；學(xué)習(xí)新課或新單元的詞匯時復(fù)習(xí)上一課或上一單元的詞匯；期中、期末再復(fù)習(xí)所學(xué)的詞匯，多次循環(huán)；對學(xué)過的詞匯進(jìn)行歸類，學(xué)生的詞匯量豐富了，學(xué)英語的自信心也就增強(qiáng)了，反過來，還有助于教師的教。
