我的祖父母和姑姑都是老師,很小的時(shí)候就從他們那里知道了很多世界各地的有趣的事情。諾貝爾是我對(duì)瑞典的第一印象,因?yàn)橹Z貝爾獎(jiǎng)的存在,讓我對(duì)遙遠(yuǎn)的瑞典有了一種崇敬。我讀的第一個(gè)兒童小說就是《Pippi》,后來才知道,這是瑞典作家VonAstridLindgren的作品。隨著年齡的增長(zhǎng),我逐漸知道了越來越多關(guān)于北歐,關(guān)于瑞典的歷史和人文知識(shí)。從諾貝爾到圣誕老人,從愛立信到宜家(IKEA)。知道得越多,我就越是對(duì)瑞典充滿了向往,希望自己有一天能踏上這個(gè)美麗的國(guó)度。

受到祖父母的影響,我考進(jìn)了上海師范大學(xué),選擇了英語專業(yè),因?yàn)槲矣X得這是我了解世界的一個(gè)有力的工具。

在四年中,我系統(tǒng)的學(xué)習(xí)了英語語言的知識(shí),聽、說、讀、寫都打下了堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。在學(xué)習(xí)中,我知道每門課程都會(huì)給我?guī)硎斋@,都是實(shí)現(xiàn)我的夢(mèng)想的基石。我堅(jiān)信只要我認(rèn)真的,努力的去學(xué)習(xí),我一定能做到最好。四年中,我連續(xù)獲得了學(xué)校的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金,順利的通過了專業(yè)英語考試6級(jí),8級(jí),而且現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)通過了上海市高級(jí)口譯的筆試部分,近期我就要參加口試部分,我有十足的把握通過這個(gè)測(cè)試,獲得高級(jí)口譯證書。當(dāng)我從上海師范大學(xué)畢業(yè)時(shí),我在專業(yè)中排名第4,獲得了“優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生”的稱號(hào)。

畢業(yè)以后,我進(jìn)入了一家機(jī)械貿(mào)易公司。作為經(jīng)理的助理,我整日要面對(duì)大量的英文文檔的書寫、翻譯。除了日常的英語交流以外,我遇到了大量的機(jī)械、貿(mào)易等等方面的專業(yè)詞匯,這是對(duì)我的挑戰(zhàn),而且我知道,如果戰(zhàn)勝了這個(gè)挑戰(zhàn),我將會(huì)有一個(gè)很大的提高。于是我利用所有可以利用的'時(shí)間翻閱專業(yè)字典,跟此行業(yè)內(nèi)的資深人士交流。從開始的磕磕絆絆,經(jīng)過努力的學(xué)習(xí),我現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)可以十分自如的應(yīng)對(duì)這些專業(yè)知識(shí)了。

通過多年的學(xué)習(xí)和工作,我逐漸感到自己還有比較大的提升空間,于是我萌生了出國(guó)留學(xué)的想法。瑞典是一個(gè)我最向往的國(guó)家,如果能在瑞典學(xué)習(xí),我想我不但能進(jìn)一步提高自己的英語水平,而且可以學(xué)習(xí)瑞典語,這樣我就能更好的去了解瑞典、了解歐洲。

隨著中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展,中國(guó)跟北歐的文化、經(jīng)濟(jì)交流必然會(huì)越來越多,涉及的面會(huì)越來越廣。如果我能獲得一個(gè)在你們學(xué)校XXXXXXX專業(yè)的學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會(huì),我想我必然會(huì)在中歐交流的大潮中處于非常有利的位置。我一定會(huì)利用自己學(xué)到的專業(yè)知識(shí),多做一些對(duì)中瑞交流有益的事情,將瑞典文化介紹給中國(guó)人民,將中國(guó)文化介紹給瑞典人民,增進(jìn)我們的相互了解,增進(jìn)我們的友誼。

Ihavebeenworkingsince1996forthePeople’sBankofChina,aChineseversionoftheFederalReserve,atitsuniqueresearchinstituteofsecurityprinting,withtheresponsibilityofdesigningtheChinesecurrencyandthemachinerytoproduceit.Byengagingmeinavarietyofprojects,thejobaffordedmeampleexposuretocutting-edgedevelopmentsin,particularlyinCADsoftware.Ihave,forexample,recentlyredevelopedapurchasedCAD(ComputerAidedDesign)softwaretomakeitmoresuitableforourownpurposes.Byaddingourownpart/subassemblytothedatabaseandmakeourowndrawingcriteria,wehaveachieveddramaticallybetterefficiency.

Myjobperformance,whichhaswonmeprofessionalrespectfromallofmycolleagues,wasachievedthankstothestrongbackgroundIacquiredasastudentincomputerscience.MyundergraduateGPArankedfirstamongthe63studentsofclassmatesinmechanicaldepartment,forwhichIwasawardedfirst-classandsecond-classprizesmanytimes.MygraduateGPArankedamongthetop4%ofthe105studentsinmyyear,whichwonmethe“SanHao”scholarshipeveryyearduringthethreeyearsofmygraduatestudies.

UnlikemanyotherChinesestudents,whoarecontentwithperformingwellinexams,Imadeapointoflearningthroughmyownhands-onexperiences.IntheMaster’sprogramattheBeijingInstituteofPrinting,Igainedanin-depthunderstandingofartificialintelligence,includingexpertsystemandgeneticalgorithm,especiallyinneuralnetwork.Formythesis,Iprogrammedamulti-levelBPneuralnetworkwithClanguagetoanalyzemymathematicalmodel,andappliedmuchofmyknowledgeinoptimization.Ithusbecameabletoprogramwithahostofdifferentcomputerlanguages,especiallyC++,withwhichIhelpedmygraduateadvisortodesignapaper-cuttingmachine.Toanalyzethemechanismstaticallyanddynamically,Iprogrammedasoftwaresystemtoanalyzeandemulateitonscreen.Inundergraduatestudies,IhadoftenprogrammedwithFortran77andtheBasiclanguage.

UponthecompletionofmyMaster’sstudies,IeasilypassedthedoctoralrecordexaminationinCAD/CAMofBeijingUniversity,onefthetopuniversitiesinChina.ButIgaveuptheopportunityinordertogainmorepracticalexperienceintheindustry.Thedecisionprovedtoberight,asitguaranteedmebetteraccesstosophisticatedfacilities,suchasstate-of-the-artpersonalcomputers.WiththePeople’sBankofChina,Ihavethusaccumulatedsolidexpertiseinmanykindsofoperatingandapplicationsoftwaresystems,particularlyinCAD.InowhaveafirmgriponthelatestdevelopmentsincomputerscienceinChina.

ThechallengesImetandthesuccessesIachievedatthePeople’sBankhavenotonlyendowedmewithconfidencebutalsofiredoffmydesiretofurtherimprovemyself.Ihaveenjoyedhigh-qualityandefficientproductionwiththeuseofakindofPC-basedCADsoftware,MDT,developedbyAutodesknowhaveadream:someday,everypersoncandesignhisfavoriteproductwithsomesortofCADsoftware,andthensearchforanidealfactoryoverhigh-speedinternetitsproduction;andthefactorywillputspecificationsoftheproduct,asithasreceivedthemviathehigh-speedinternetintoitsCIMS,andoutpopstheproduct,asdesigned,attheendofthefactory’sproductionline.Itisabeautifuldreamforeveryengineer,butmanydifficultiesthespeedofdata-transferandhowtomanagetheproductdataamongCAD,CAM,CAPPandCAEsystems.Thesequestionsarefascinating,andIwouldliketocomeupwithmyownanswerstothem.

Topreparemyselfforadvancedstudiesinyourcountry,IhavepersistedinimprovingmyEnglishproficiency.Asdemonstratedbymyscoreof700(96%)intheverbalsectionofGRE,InowhaveanadequatecommandofEnglishforundertakinggraduatestudiesinyourprogram.
