fetch

作動詞,意為“(去)拿來”。如:

Dadaskedmetofetchhimannewspaper.

爸爸要求我去給他拿一份報紙。知識鏈接fetch,take,bring與

carry這組詞都可表示“拿”“帶”。其區(qū)別是:

bring

表示“拿來;帶來”,指從別處拿過來;

take

表示“拿走;帶走”,指從此處拿出去。

fetch表示“去拿來”;

carry則指“隨身帶著”,不強(qiáng)調(diào)方向,表示“攜帶、背著、運(yùn)送、搬扛”等意思。
