1)此句中的連詞while的意思是“當...的時候;和...同時“,while還可以表
示“而;然而;但”之意,用來說明和強調兩種事情或情形不同。

湯姆活躍外向,而他的妹妹羅莎卻害羞靦腆。
2)makesure“確認,查明,核實;確保;設法保證”,其后可接句子,或接介詞
of及賓語,用來引入需要確認的內容。

3)此句中的work表示機器,器官等“運作,運轉”,這是動詞work的一種基本
用法。

的手表是防水的一這就是說即便在水里它也會正常運轉。
