Army(laterrenamedtheChinesePeoplesVolunteers),iftheKoreanPeople‘sArmywasdefeated,ChinacanquicklysendtroopstohelpNorthKoreaandtheUnitedStatesledtheUnitedNationsforcestofight.

September15,1950,theUSmilitarylandinginIncheon,NorthKorea

battlefieldsituationreversed,theKoreanPeoplesArmyretreated.

BecausetheDPRKblockedChinasmilitaryintelligenceagainstChina,thewarbrokeoutwithoutpriornoticetoChina,whichcausedChineseleaderstobedissatisfiedwithit,butinthecaseoftheUnitedStatesdirectlyinvolvedinthewar,ortosupporttheDPRK.TheChinesegovernmenthasexpresseditsstrongoppositiontothesixteencountriesofthesixteenUnitedNationsforcesagainsttheKoreanPeoplesArmy,buttheUSmilitaryignoredthearmytotheSino-Koreanborder,whiletheUnitedStatesaircraftseveraltimesintoChinasairspace,bombingtheDandongarea,ThePartyCentralCommitteeandChairmanMaoZedongdecidedtosendtheChinesePeoplesVolunteerstotheDPRK,togetherwiththeheroicKoreanpeopleandtheKoreanPeoplesArmy,togetherwiththepeopleofthePeople‘sRepublicofChina,Fightsidebyside,fightagainstaggression.

InMarch1951,QiuShaoyunrespondedtothegreatcallofChairmanMao‘sAnti-KoreanWarandparticipatedintheChinesePeoplesVolunteers.WhenhecametotheDPRK,hesawtheUSimperialistsandthenewgangsoftheactresstoburn,kill,robandsweeptheKoreanpeople.WitnessingthesufferingofthechildrenoftheDPRKintheirchildhood,provokingQiuShaoyunshatredoftheimperialistreactionaries.TocontributetothedefeatoftheAmericaninvaders.

InOctober1952,QiuShaoyunscompanyreceivedagloriousandarduoustask,istoeliminateentrenchedinPingkangandgoldbetweenthethreenineonehighgroundoftheUnitedStatesandLeeJunarmy,thefrontofthelinetoadvance.However,ourarmypositionstothreenineonebetweenthehighlands,withthreethousandmeterswideopen,thisistheenemy‘sfireblockadearea.Tosuchalongdistanceundertheimpactoffire,itisnoteasythings.Therefore,inordertoshortentheimpactofdistance,surprise,beattheenemybysurprise,ourarmydecidedtolaunchthetotalattackthedaybeforethenight,thetroopslurkingintheforefrontoftheenemypositions.

campwasorderedtoundertakethetaskoflatent.Beforethelatency,Qiu

Shaoyunsubmittedtothepartybranchtojointhepartyapplication,wrote:wouldrathersacrificetheirown,neverexposedthetarget,forthesakeofvictory,inordertovictoryforthepeopleofChinaandtheliberationofallhumanbeings,iswillingtogivetheirowneverything.Intheimplementationofthetask,QiuShaoyunintheenemypositionaheadofmorethan60metersofgrassinthelatent,theenemysuddenlyapproachingthelatentarea,inordertocoverthepotentialtroops,thecommandcommandorderedtheartillerytocombattheenemy.Theenemywasattackedaftertheplanereconnaissance,andblindlyfiredreconnaissanceincendiarybombs,aburningbombjustfellonthesideofQiuShaoyun,flyingintotheMarsspilledonhisleftleg,burninghiscoat,hairandflesh.Butinordernottoexposethepotentialtroops,hedisciplined,clenchedteeth,hishandsdeeplyintothesoil,withamazingperseveranceenduredpain,silent,motionless,untiltheheroicsacrifice,only26yearsold.
