startups

fundingenvironmentand

demonstratedapotentialpathtoprofitability,whichisanear

necessity

inthecurrentmarket.However,itispossiblethatdealvaluationswerenotdisclosedbecause

theyrepresentedavaluationdeclinefrompreviousrounds.

Inothercases,

smallerdealscouldbe

intendedtoclosethegapuntilalargerroundor

exitcan

Unprofitablepubliccomparables,

suchas

23andMe

and

Hims&Hers,

haveseen

theirvaluationsdecline,whileincontrast,companiesthathaveprofitablebusinessmodels,

suchasNoom,

arewellpositionedforanIPO

outlookInthehealthtechspace,

severalcategoriesarefragmentedand

havebusinessmodels
