Theysimplyexertalotofpressureonstudentstobeaswell-roundedaspossible.
Ithinkbeingwell-roundedisn'treallypossible.
Andasaconsequence,somestudentsIbelievetobeintelligentcan'tgetintogoodcollegesifthey,
youknow,haven'tscoredwellonthemathsection,eveniftheyarebrilliantwriters.
Anotherthingthatdisturbsmeisthattheso-calledweakstudentsareseparatedfromtherestoftheschool.
Somekidsarekeptinaseparateclassiftheirgradesarelowerthanothers'.
Andthey'reveryawareoftheirsocialposition,youknow.
Ithinkitcausesthemtoactinawaythatisnotreallypositive.
They'rejustactinginawaytheyareexpected.Oftentheirgradesgofrombadtoworse.Andthat'sprettysad.
Ithinkthatmanyofthekidsinthoseclassesareintelligent,
