operations.

Theworksuggestsbirdscouldbeaneffectiveboat-

monitoringtoolaslongasillegalfishingoperationsdon'ttarget

thebirds.

Fortunately,suchataskwouIdbedifficult.Aroundfishing

boats,youcanfindhundredsofbirdsatanyonetimethatare

flyingaround.Andthebirdswithloggersarenotmarkedinany
