alqualitieswhichIpursuestandincompleteoppositiontothetrendsofmodernfashionWhatIfindprofoundlyengagingaretheprimitiveerasofhumanhistory,whenpeopleheldnatureinthedeepestreverenceandmadeobjectsoftheutmostsimplicity.Thosecraftsfashionedoutofnecessity,andnotbythehandsofcelebratedmasters,possessapowerthatcanendureacrosstheages.Thesedesignsmaystillresonatethroughthemillenniaandarrestthevaluesofcontemporaryfashion.ThisiswhatIhavepursued,forclothingtoreturntoitsoriginalsimplicity.Foroursensibilitieswhichhavebeenover-stimulatedbyfashion,wemustregainanaturalsenseofclothing.Genuinefashiontodayshouldnotfollowth
