姥姥家的院子

童年,如煙花一綻般短暫,美麗。帶著絲絲的思念,牽著逝去的天真,深深地刻在記憶的光盤中。隨著光陰的流轉(zhuǎn),一幕幕美麗,生動(dòng)的往事被時(shí)針拋灑在成長(zhǎng)路上,而姥姥家的院子,就是其中一幕。記憶中,推開(kāi)厚厚的老式門,先看到一個(gè)避雨的棚子,夏天時(shí),躲在那里,涼爽極了。依稀記得,棚下墻角還有一株大麗菊開(kāi)得茂盛。棚前就是一片綠油油的景象。一個(gè)四方的院子就展現(xiàn)出來(lái)。這就是我童年充滿歡樂(lè)的地方。

回憶中,北屋邊的棗樹(shù)總是紅雜綠,青澀的棗兒害羞似得,躲在濃密的綠葉里不出來(lái),石榴樹(shù)可不同了,笑的咧開(kāi)了大嘴,一點(diǎn)兒也不羞澀。蜂兒呀,蝶呀,春天時(shí)幾乎都乘風(fēng)飛來(lái)了,到時(shí),輕輕一撲,總能撲到一兩只豹紋蝴蝶,黃粉蝶呀,南屋檐下還似乎有個(gè)蜂窩似的。側(cè)屋的藤上好似永不空著似得,時(shí)種點(diǎn)黃瓜,時(shí)種點(diǎn)葡萄,一年的倭瓜攀上了屋檐。肥土里,大葉子的小油菜抬著頭,紅艷艷的辣椒瘦瘦的,朵朵蝴蝶花襯在周圍,像給辣椒別上個(gè)頭飾似得,也有幾分美麗。幼時(shí),姥姥姥爺總是在這不大的院子里忙活。我也跟著幫助。說(shuō)是幫助,其實(shí)是搗亂,反倒幫了倒忙。施肥吧,堂姐在那規(guī)規(guī)矩矩的施肥,我呢,就在旁閑逛,不但把施好肥的田地破壞,連肥料也被我撒得到處都是,爸爸媽媽只得從一旁苦笑。后來(lái),大人們?cè)僖膊蛔屛規(guī)椭恕?/p>

閑的悶,就去打棗。小小的我拿著那么長(zhǎng)的帶鉤竿子夠,一使勁,“嘩啦〞,棗兒倒一個(gè)也沒(méi)掉下來(lái),反倒一只灰蜘蛛連枝差點(diǎn)掉到頭

上,我還從未看見(jiàn)過(guò)這么大的蜘蛛哩!嚇得幼小的我坐在地上哭了起來(lái),連竿子砸在腳上都沒(méi)有覺(jué)察。

摘水果也是我常在姥姥的院子里做的事情之一,可禍?zhǔn)逻€免不了發(fā)生,記得有一次,我去拾石榴,未曾留意到果間還趴著個(gè)黃絨絨的球兒,就那一次,險(xiǎn)些被蜂兒蜇,可晚后水果過(guò)后,卻有些不適。此后我再也不敢擅自拾了。

兒時(shí),那老屋前總趴著一只毛色純白的貓。貓名雪,比我出生晚兩年,我天真的想:假設(shè)它會(huì)說(shuō)人語(yǔ)的話,一定要叫我‘姐姐’。我沒(méi)事就和它玩,我喂給它“蝦條〞吃,它和我玩“躲貓貓〞,“找東西〞在姥姥的院子里,樂(lè)趣就如我扔出的玉米芯那樣好找到。撲個(gè)蝴蝶,捉個(gè)蜻蜓,采野花,摘黃瓜,姥姥家鄰村的孩子們還有跑去幾里外的河邊游泳的。這有在這兒,才能躲避城市的喧囂,逃離街道的車水馬龍,奔流不息,拋棄人來(lái)人往,享受寧?kù)o的自由。這怎的不稱得上是“人間天堂〞?這怎得不比城市好上十倍?

Atthebeginningofthenovel,Mr.Shelby,thefirstandmostgenerousmasterofUncleTom,remendedUncleTom’shonestywhendiscussingwithhiscreditor,Haley,towhomheowedalotsumofmoneythatcouldnotbepaidoffeasily.ThoughMr.Shelbywasreluctant,heresortedtosellTomtoclearthedebt,andhebelievedthatUncleTomwasabsolutelyworththeamount.Mr.ShelbysaidthatUncleTomwashisfavoritepetanda“genuinearticle〞,apious,steady,sensible,unmonfellow.Hetrustedhimwithoutquestionandlethimeandgoaroundthecountryfreely,managinghismoney,house,andhorse.Everythinghehad,hewouldaskUncleTomtodealwiththem,andmanyyears’successandfruitsfoundUncleTomtrueandsquareineverything,andhishonestywonthehighestplaceinfrontofMr.Shelby.

3.DuringMr.Shelby’stalkingwithHaley,thereisonethingthatcouldtestifyTom’shonestytotheutmost.Itwasonefall,Mr.ShelbyaskedTomtogotoCincinnatialone,todobusinessforhim,andbringhomefivehundreddollars.“‘Tom’,〞Mr.Shelbysaidtohim,‘ItrustyoubecauseIthinkyouareaChristian—Iknowyouwouldn’tcheat’〞(Stowe1999:2).Surely,Tomcameback,withthatsumofmoney,andsomefellowsaidtohim,“Tom,whydon’tyoumaketracksforCanadatolethimcoverthewholebalanceofthedebt.
