英語沙龍社團管理制度

Introduction

TheEnglishSalonSociety(ESS)isacommunityofindividualswhoshareacommoninterestinimprovingtheirEnglishlanguageproficiency.TheSocietyisopentoallindividualswhodesiretoenhancetheircommunicationskillsinEnglishastheyinteractandengagewithothermembers.ThisdocumentservesasaguidingprinciplefortheeffectivemanagementoftheESS.

Objectives

TheobjectivesoftheESSareto:

1.ProvideaplatformforindividualstoimprovetheirEnglishlanguageproficiency.

2.FosteracommunityofindividualswhoshareacommoninterestintheEnglishlanguage.

3.Createopportunitiesformemberstonetworkandsocializewithothermembersinafunandinteractiveenvironment.

Membership

MembershiptotheESSisopentoallindividualswhohaveaninterestinimprovingtheirEnglishlanguageproficiency.Prospectivemembersmustcompleteanapplicationformandpayamembershipfee.Membershipisrenewableannually.

ManagementCommittee

TheESSismanagedbyacommitteewhosemembersareelectedbythegeneralmembership.Thecommitteecomprisessevenmembers,includingthechairperson,vice-chairperson,secretary,treasurer,andthreeothermembers.Thecommitteeisresponsibleforthefollowing:

1.PlanningandorganizingeventsandactivitiesthatfulfilltheobjectivesoftheSociety.

2.Ensuringeffectivecommunicationamongmembers.

3.ManagingthefinancesoftheSociety.

4.DevelopingandimplementingpoliciesandproceduresthatgoverntheoperationsoftheSociety.

Meetings

TheESSholdsregularmeetingstodiscussissuesthataffecttheSocietyandtoplanforeventsandactivities.Allmembersareexpectedtoattendmeetings,andanapologymustbesenttothesecretaryinadvanceifamemberisunabletoattend.

EventsandActivities

TheESSorganizesvariouseventsandactivitiesthroughouttheyeartofulfillitsobjectives.Theseinclude:

1.Workshopsandseminars–MembersmayparticipateinworkshopsandseminarsonawiderangeoftopicsthatarerelevanttotheirEnglishlanguageproficiency.

2.Socialevents–TheSocietyorganizessocialeventssuchaspicnics,barbecues,andgamenightstoprovideanenvironmentinwhichmemberscansocializeandgettoknowoneanother.

3.Languageexchangesessions–MembersmayparticipateinlanguageexchangesessionswheretheycanpracticetheirEnglishlanguageskillswithothersandlearnfromnativespeakers.

4.Publicspeakingcompetitions–TheSocietyholdspublicspeakingcompetitionswherememberscanshowcasetheirEnglishlanguageproficiencyandcommunicationskills.

Finances

TheESSfinancesitsactivitiesthroughmembershipfees,donations,andsponsorships.ThetreasurerisresponsibleformanagingthefinancesoftheSocietyandensuringthattheaccountsareauditedannually.Arecordsbookmustbekepttodocumentallexpensesandrevenue.

CodeofConduct

AllmembersoftheESSareexpectedtoconductthemselvesinamannerthatpromotestheobjectivesoftheSociety.Membersmust:

1.Treatfellowmemberswithrespectandconsideration.

2.AdheretothepoliciesandproceduresoftheSociety.

3.Bepunctualformeetingsandevents.

4.Maintainapositiveattitude.

5.Refrainfromusingoffensivelanguage.

6.RefrainfromengaginginactivitiesthatmayharmthereputationoftheSociety.

TheEnglishSalonSocietyprovidesanexcellentplatformforindividualstoimprovetheirEnglishlanguageproficiencywhilesocializingandhavingfunwithotherlike-mindedindividuals.EffectivemanagementoftheSocietyisessentialtoitssuccessinfulfil
