BeforetheNewYearcomesandweallgocrazywithourresolutionsandgoals,it’sagoodideatotakesomequiettimeandtakealookattheyeargoneby.Acknowledgeandcelebratetheachievementsandspendsometimethinkingaboutthethingsthatdidn’tgosowellsothatyoucanbetterunderstandthereasonswhy.Thisretrospectivethinkingcanhelpuslearnandgrow—andensurewedon’tmakethesamemistakesagain.MylessontolearnthisyearisthatI’mnotWonderWomanandthatnomatterhowItryIcan’tachieveaworkloadlikeher.

I’mamother,awife,adaughter,asister,ablogger,abusinesspersonandawriter,(I’malsoaMuppetfan,butIdigress).TherearetimesinmylifewhereIhavedifficultiesfittingitallin.Therearetimeswhenthingssufferbecauseofmychoices,butliferequiresustomakedailychoicesonhowwespendourtime.Havingapersonalvisioncanhelptogainclarityaboutprioritiesandvalues.Havingthisasaguidelinecanhelpwhilemakingthesechoices.

3.Ineedtimeforme.

SupermanfliesofftoKryptoneverynowandagaintogetawayfromitall;tohavesometimealonetorestandrejuvenate.Weallneedit.
