Goodmorning,dearteachers.It’smyhonortostandheresharingmyteachingideaswithyou.MynameisNiuXiaoli,graduatedfromXinxiangMedicalUniversity2010.ThecontentofmylessonisfromSeniorEnglishBook1,ThefirstlessonofUnit2.Iwillbeginthelessonfromfiveparts:analysisoftheteachingmaterial,theteachingmethod,thestudyingmethod,theteachingprocedureandtheblackboarddesign.Let’tcometothefirstpart.
Part1AnalysisofTeachingmaterial
ThetopicofthisunitisHeroes,includingnationalheroes,historymakers,sportsstarsandsuperhero.Differentfieldshavedifferentheroes.ThefirstlessonisaboutnationalheroYangLiwei’sfirstjourneywithShenzhouVtotheouterspace.Thelessonnotonlytellsthefirstmannedspaceship’smovementfromlift-offtolanding,butalsotrainsthestudents’Englishlearningabilitiesincludingreading,writingandspeakingabilities.TheseniorstudentshavebuiltthebasicfoundationtolearnEnglish.Theyaremorematurethanbefore,sotheyareabletoanalyzesomeprimarymaterials.Theyarejustlackofchancestopracticeandcouragetoexpresstheirideas.Accordingtothenewstandardcurriculumandthesyllabus,afteranalysisoftheteachingmaterialandthestudents,Ithinktheteachingaimsareasfollow:

Tounderstandthehardshipsduringthedevelopmentofthespaceexploration.
Theimportantpointofthelessonishowtoworkoutthemeaningofthenewwords,newphrasesandkeystructures.
Thedifficultpointishowtomakegooduseofthenewwords,newphrasesandkeystructuresinpropersituation.Inordertostresstheimportantpointandbreakthroughthedifficultpoint,Iwilladoptsometeachingmethodsasfollow.
Part2Teachingmethods

hemostimportantpurposeofthisstepistostimulatethestudents’interest.IwillshowsomepicturesofShenzhouIXandthefirstfemaleastronautLiuYanginourcountry.ThenIwillaskthemwhethertheyknowthefirstmaleastronautandthenameofthespaceshipinourcountry.Aftertheiranswering,IwillshowmorebackgroundofShenzhouVandYangLiwei.Andthestudentsshouldmakeapredictionofthecontentofthisarticle.Theseinformationandquestionswillarousethestudents’curiosityaboutthecontentofthislesson.
