20、 came to the station to meet us.despite(盡管)是介詞，不是連詞，所以不能用來引導(dǎo)句子，若其后要跟 that 從句，需插入 the fact。盡管有病，他還是來開會了。誤：He came to the meeting despite of his illness.正：He came to the meeting in spite of his illness.despite(盡管)本身是介詞，注意不要受 in spite of(盡管)的影響，而誤用 despite of(偶爾可見此用法，但因多數(shù)語言 學(xué)家反對這一用法，建議學(xué)生避免使用)。盡管我的資歷很好，
