Later, the two countries remain constant development of their friendly cooperations in area of politic, economy, culture, education, health and military, etc. On Nov.2

9、3, 1998, China set up embassy in Tonga. On Feb.15, 1999, Chinas first ambassador to Tonga submitted credentials to the king of Tonga. On May 18,2005, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Tonga in Peoples Republic of China was officially open and the first ambassador to China submitted credentials to Chairm

Government successively carries out a series of polices for revitalizing economy, encourages investment and creates more job opportunities, thus, economy recovers a little bit and the rate and foreign currency remain basically stable.
