1、牛津初中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)案一、教學(xué)課題 9A Unit1 Star Signs Reading(A)二、設(shè)計(jì)思路1教學(xué)理念:根據(jù)英語(yǔ)課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中閱讀教學(xué)的方法,是讓學(xué)生在教師的指導(dǎo)下,通過(guò)感知、體驗(yàn)、實(shí)踐、參與和合作等方式,逐步達(dá)到教學(xué)目標(biāo)規(guī)定的要求。在設(shè)計(jì)教學(xué)過(guò)程中教師應(yīng)注意自己的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)應(yīng)當(dāng)充分考慮到學(xué)生的特點(diǎn),根據(jù)教學(xué)大綱的要求靈活運(yùn)用教材,為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)生動(dòng)的、與其生活緊密聯(lián)系的活動(dòng),以此激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情。學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程中帶著明確的學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo),明確自己應(yīng)該做的事情,充分發(fā)展自己語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用能力,提高綜合語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用的目的。2教學(xué)思路:本課講述的是星座,如果只是照本宣科,讓學(xué)生直接閱讀課本、理解課本,容易

2、使學(xué)習(xí)產(chǎn)生厭煩心理。因此,根據(jù)新課標(biāo)的要求,我在備課時(shí),精心設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)生比較感興趣的話(huà)題,并且借助于多媒體,把12個(gè)星座圖片呈現(xiàn)給學(xué)生,通過(guò)多媒體課件為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)更多的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境,激發(fā)學(xué)生主動(dòng)參與的欲望。學(xué)生會(huì)在輕松、愉快的環(huán)境下進(jìn)入角色掌握知識(shí)。同時(shí)適當(dāng)安排小組討論,使學(xué)生在輕松愉快的環(huán)境中操練,讓學(xué)生在做中學(xué),在做中練,在做中鞏固,從而有效地提高課堂教學(xué)效益,達(dá)到事半功倍的效果。大體思路:設(shè)問(wèn)(Ask questions)快讀(Fast Reading)精讀(Intensive Reading)操練(Practising)鞏固(Consolidation)3教材分析:(1)背景分析:在西方的占星術(shù)

3、中,一個(gè)人的星象通常取決于他出生的時(shí)刻,被占星家用來(lái)分析性格,還可以用來(lái)預(yù)測(cè)未來(lái)的事件。同樣,每個(gè)天體都被認(rèn)為具有自己獨(dú)特的性格。中國(guó)的星象是根據(jù)12種動(dòng)物,即中國(guó)的十二生肖(屬相)來(lái)排列的,每種動(dòng)物代表一個(gè)農(nóng)歷年份。和西方的星座一樣,人們相信你出生的年份會(huì)影響你的性格。(2)內(nèi)容分析:在本課文中出現(xiàn)了大量的描述某人性格的形容詞,學(xué)生對(duì)這個(gè)非常感興趣,這樣可以讓學(xué)生反復(fù)操練,直到他們能夠正確使用這些形容詞。當(dāng)時(shí)在上這篇課文時(shí),我采用了小組競(jìng)賽的方式,看哪一組在規(guī)定的時(shí)間內(nèi)找出的性格形容詞最多。學(xué)生對(duì)這些星座還是很感興趣的,但要記住這些星座的名字卻比較困難。當(dāng)時(shí)我只要求他們記住自己的星座,同時(shí)說(shuō)

4、出自己的性格和書(shū)上描述的異同,學(xué)生對(duì)這個(gè)非常感興趣,大部分學(xué)生都能用形容詞來(lái)描述自己的性格。(3)學(xué)情分析:1)課前認(rèn)真預(yù)習(xí),收集有關(guān)星座的資料和信息,課后能及時(shí)鞏固復(fù)習(xí)。2)上課勤思考、多動(dòng)腦,掌握所學(xué)詞匯,主動(dòng)參與課堂上的各種活動(dòng)。三、教學(xué)目標(biāo):(知識(shí)目標(biāo)、能力目標(biāo)和情感目標(biāo))1知識(shí)目標(biāo):掌握并能靈活運(yùn)用本課出現(xiàn)的重點(diǎn)形容詞來(lái)描述某人的性格。2能力目標(biāo):通過(guò)本課的學(xué)習(xí),提高學(xué)生聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)及知識(shí)運(yùn)用的綜合能力。3情感目標(biāo):通過(guò)本課時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí),讓學(xué)生知道自己的星座和表達(dá)自己的性格特征,以便在今后生活中如何地結(jié)交朋友?如何和他人相處?形成良好的人際關(guān)系。四、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)理解并熟練掌握有關(guān)星座特征和

5、重點(diǎn)詞匯。五、教學(xué)難點(diǎn) 說(shuō)出自己的星座并把自己的特征介紹給他人。六、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備本課是講星座,我們可以利用多媒體教學(xué)手段展示了一幅幅色彩逼真、形象生動(dòng),栩栩如生的畫(huà)面。叫學(xué)生通過(guò)不同的圖片把不同的星座特征盡可能的找出來(lái)。多媒體展示的圖畫(huà)更有特色,充分地調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的積極性,參與性,吸引全體學(xué)生的注意力,達(dá)到了教育教學(xué)目的,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言綜合素質(zhì)有很好的指導(dǎo)作用。通過(guò)多媒體輔助教學(xué),貫穿整個(gè)教學(xué)過(guò)程。增加了直觀(guān)性和趣味性,加大了課堂密度,提高了教學(xué)效果。七、教學(xué)過(guò)程Step 1 Warm-up1.Teacher says: We have learnt about the twelve star si

6、gns. Can you name some of them? Revise the star signs in Period 1. The students listen to their teacher and try to spell out the star signs as much as possible.(和同學(xué)們一起復(fù)習(xí)有關(guān)星座的知識(shí)為新課做鋪墊。)2. Ask the students to make dialogues like this. Then act it out in pairs.(讓學(xué)生說(shuō)出自己的出生時(shí)間,來(lái)判斷自己的星座。) S1: How old are y

7、ou? S2: Im sixteen. S1: Whats your animal sign? S2: The pig. S1: When is your birthday? S2: Its on 10th February. S1: Oh, youre an Aquarius.Step 2 Presentation1.Brainstorm the vocabulary that is used to describe peoples characteristics. Encourage students to explain each word to their classmates. (提

8、問(wèn)有關(guān)人的形容詞,檢查學(xué)生的預(yù)習(xí)情況。)energetic active impatient selfish stubborn outgoing easy-going confident modest generous etc.2. Play the tape and ask the students to listen carefully with closing the books. Then ask them to read after the tape .Follow the text on page 8 . (聽(tīng)錄音并跟錄音朗讀,提高學(xué)生的模仿能力,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生精讀的能力。)3.Ask

9、one student at a time to read a paragraph. After each paragraph, ask students to say which part of the text they do not understand. Less able students may find some of the names of the star signs difficult. If so, do not force them to learn them by heart because they are only used here to arouse stu

10、dents interest. It is more important for them to learn the adjectives that describe peoples characteristics. This will enable them to complete the Main Task at the end of the unit. (遵循學(xué)生的思維規(guī)律,層層深入,同時(shí)注意閱讀課的要旨是強(qiáng)調(diào)閱讀,真正地達(dá)到提高學(xué)生的閱讀能力。)4. Ask some questions to check understanding. (檢查他們掌握程度。)(1) How is a y

11、ear divided?(2) What decides your star signs?(3) What character do the people born on21st April have?(4) What characters do the people born in other time periods have?Based on these questions to be more familiar with the adjs that are used to describe ones characteristics5. After the students have k

Language Points:1). A year is divided into 12 different star signs. 一年分為12個(gè)不同的星

15、座。be divided into 是一個(gè)被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),表示“被分成”e.g. Our class is divided into six groups. All things can be divided into two.2). Some people think that you are selfish at times. 有些人認(rèn)為你有時(shí)自私。at times 相當(dāng)于 sometimes, from time to time3). You are patient and do not give up easily. 你有耐心,不輕易放棄。give up “放棄”,表示“放棄做某事”要用 “

16、give up doing sth.”e.g. Jacky never gives up studying. His dream is to be the leader of his country. 4).You love your home and family, and like to take care of others.你愛(ài)家和家人,樂(lè)于助人,愛(ài)好儲(chǔ)蓄和烹飪。take care of作“照顧、照料”解,相當(dāng)于look after. e.g. I believe that neighbours can take care of your son while you are out.t

17、ake good care of和look afterwell意義相同,都是“好好照料、好好照顧”的意思。但take care of用的是good一詞,而look after則用well。 5). You like saving money and cooking. 你喜歡省錢(qián),喜歡烹飪。save 節(jié)省, 如 save time6). You like to buy your friends nice gifts. 你樂(lè)意給朋友買(mǎi)好看的禮物。buy sb. sth.= buy sth. for sb. 為某人買(mǎi)某物 上句也可寫(xiě)成: You like to buy nice gifts for

18、your friends.gift 常表示“小禮物”,“正規(guī)禮物”常用present 表示7). You worry too much at times. 你有時(shí)過(guò)于小心。too much可以修飾不可數(shù)名詞,在名中作定語(yǔ);too much也可以單獨(dú)使用,相當(dāng)于一個(gè)代詞,在句中可作主語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)或賓語(yǔ)。too much也可作副詞,修飾動(dòng)詞,在句中作狀語(yǔ),表示“過(guò)于”“太多”(more than enough)。e.g. I drank too much beer last night. 昨天晚上我啤酒喝得太多了。 much too在句中只用作狀語(yǔ),修飾形容詞或副詞,表示“太、過(guò)、非?!薄.g. I

19、t is much too hot today. 今天實(shí)在太熱了。8). You are practical and you always pay attention to details. 你心靈手巧,總是注意、在意細(xì)節(jié)。e.g. Dont pay much attention to these details. It is not good for your health.Step 4 Practice1. Show the whole class 12 pictures of star signs. Teach them the names and repeat several time

20、s. Ask one student What your star sign is. Help him to answer My star sign is.Next, What are your characteristics? Kind, generous.Ask more students the questions.(提高他們知識(shí)運(yùn)用的綜合能力。)2. Divide the students into 12 groups. Then play the tape for the whole class to write down the characteristics of each st

21、ar sign, each group find out their own star sign. Show them a table on the blackboard. And ask some students to fill in blanks. The students can discuss in pairs to think of some questions, ask and answer in pairs. (學(xué)生以小組為單位,充分體現(xiàn)新課程自主探究、合作交流的學(xué)習(xí)方式,促使學(xué)生互相學(xué)習(xí),互相幫助,發(fā)展合作精神。)3.Then ask some able students o

After it . finish the exercises on the screen.T: Discuss with your partners: Whats your animal sign?Whose birthday is the same as yours?And can you talk about your characteristics?(通過(guò)教師教學(xué)方式的轉(zhuǎn)變,突出學(xué)生主體,讓學(xué)生主動(dòng)思維,拓展視野,暢所欲言。)4.Ask some students to retell the tex

23、t that we taught.(檢查學(xué)生掌握程度,并加以鼓勵(lì),增強(qiáng)學(xué)習(xí)信心。) Step 5 Make a surveyDo a class survey. Ask students whether they believe in star signs. Count how many say yes and how many say no. Write the numbers on the board. For more able students, ask them to say why they believe or do not believe in star signs. Divi

24、de the class into pairs. Ask students to write down five words that describe their partners characteristics in Part D1 and in Part D2. (操練他們自己的性格特征,讓學(xué)生更加熟悉運(yùn)用這些形容詞。)Step 6 SummaryTeacher makes a summary that we should remember the adjectives that describe peoples characteristics.Step 7 Exercises用所給單詞的適當(dāng)形式填空:1).
