1、.Unit 5 Inside advertising語法篇_1. 掌握賓語補足語的定義及構成;2. 掌握非謂語動詞作賓語補足語的運用;3. 區(qū)分復合賓語與賓語補足語,并掌握其定義;一. 賓語補足語的定義及構成賓語補足語是補充賓語的成分,通常置于賓語之后。賓語和賓語補足語構成復合賓語??梢杂米髻e語補足語的有名詞、形容詞、副詞、介詞短語、動詞不定式、-ing形式和過去分詞。二. 可以充當賓語補足語的詞和詞組有:1. 名詞:We made him our monitor.They thought this good advice.They named their daughter Jenny.注:常
2、用名詞充當賓語補足語的動詞有:call, name, elect, make, think, appoint, choose, find, consider, keep, wish, feel等。注:充當賓語補足語的名詞假設表示正式的或獨一無二的頭銜、職位時,前面一般不用冠詞,如:They elected John chairman of the committee.2. 形容詞:You should keep your room clean and tidy.Wed better leave the door open.注:常用形容詞充當賓語補足語的動詞有:believe, think, g
3、et, keep, make, find, set, like, wish, see, consider, prove, have, leave, 以及paint, drive, turn, cut 等。3. 副詞和介詞短語也可以充當賓語補足語,如:When do you want it back?Why didnt you invite them in?We could hear the children at play outside.4. 非謂語動詞作賓語補足語構造,看及物動詞。第一類, 感覺動詞, 所接的賓補可以是v-ing形式,也可以是動詞原形。see, watch, notice,
4、 look at, observe, listen to, hear, feel, have, imagine, discover, like, want, understand, hate, get, set, leave等。但變?yōu)楸粍诱Z態(tài)時,不定式要帶to. 1 I saw him cross/ crossing the road.2 He was seen to cross/ crossing the road.第二類, 含使動意義的動詞, 所接的賓補多為動詞原形或過去分詞。let, have, get, make, would like, want等。1 If Mr. Smith is
5、 in the hall, will he please make himself known to me?2 It makes people know the importance of protecting environment. 3 The machine doesnt work. I must have it repaired right now.第三類, 含命名意義的動詞, 所接的賓補一般是名詞。call, name, appoint, elect, make, consider等。1 Call me Joe, please.2 She was elected the presid
6、ent of the company.第四類, v + sb. + to do sth. 構造中的動詞, 所接的賓補一般是不定式。wish, desire, expect, love, prefer, trust, encourage, let, allow, permit, mean, lead, bring, put, hurry, cause, remind, ask, invite, beg, request, worry, advise, persuade, call on, tell, order, command, require, make, force, drive, for
7、bid, warn, help, teach, show, assist, report, bear, wait for / think, take, know, judge, consider, suppose, believe, allow, prove, declare等。第五類, find, keep, leave, make 等幾個詞的用法非常靈敏, 后面所接的賓補可以是形容詞、副詞、詞組、如今分詞、過去分詞等。1 We found it very difficult to solve the problem.2 How can you keep them waiting for s
8、o long?3 Keep the door closed.三. 賓語和其補足語之間的邏輯關系:1. 當名詞、形容詞、副詞和介詞短語充當賓語補足語時,它們和賓語之間有著邏輯上的主謂關系或稱表語關系,假設無賓語補足語,那么句意不完好。賓語補足語說明賓語的情況、性質、特征、狀態(tài)、身份或屬類等。試比較:We made him our monitor. He is our monitor.You should keep your room clean and tidy. Your room is clean and tidy.We could hear the children at play out
9、side. The children are at play outside.2. 當過去分詞充當賓語補足語時,它與賓語之間有著動賓關系,即:賓語是過去分詞所表示的動作的承受者,如:I once heard this song sung in Japanese. This song was once sung in Japanese.I didnt want the children taken out in such weather. The children were taken out in such weather.四. 復合賓語在復合賓語中,賓語通常為名詞或代詞,但有時也可以用不定式
10、短語、動名詞短語或that從句來充當。這時,應使用先行it代替賓語,而將真正的賓語移到句子的后部,如:I felt it necessary to speak about our shortcomings.Do you consider it any good trying again?We all thought it a pity that you couldnt join us.注意:在這種構造中,賓語補足語通常為名詞或形容詞;常用于這種構造的動詞有:feel, find, think, make, take, judge, consider 等。1.
