1、小學基本常識與主要句型英語是拼音文字共有 26 個字母 .英語是當今世界上 主要的國際通用語言之一 .據(jù)不完全統(tǒng)計 ,世界上以英語為母語的人已超過 4 億,差不多每 10 個人中就有一個講英語 .英國、美國、加拿大、澳大利亞、新西蘭等國家的人都講英語 .。世界上約有 20 個國家把英語作為官方語言或第二語言使用 ,共計約有 8 億人 ,也就是說 ,世界上差不多每 5 個人中有一個人至少在一定程度懂英語。 若加上世界各國的中小學生， 學習英語的人就更多了。 英語的使用范圍非常廣泛。 世界上 70%以上的郵件是用英文書寫或用英文寫地址的：全世界的廣播節(jié)目中約有60%是用英語進行廣播的： 國際上科技

2、資料絕大部分是用英語發(fā)表的： 絕大部分的國際會議均以英語為第一通用語言， 它也是聯(lián)合國的正式工作語言之一。總之，在國際政治、軍事、經(jīng)濟、科技、文化、貿(mào)易、交通運輸?shù)阮I域，英語都是一個重要的交際工具。大寫字母基本用法規(guī)則：(1)句子開頭的字母 ,包括完整的句子或不完整的句子、其開頭的字母須大寫。如： Good afternoon!(2)句子直接引語的開頭字母須大寫如：Simon says “ Touch yournose.”(3)人名或姓氏之前，表示親屬關系的詞，其開頭字母必須大寫。如：Uncle Sam, Aunt Polly.4）表示人民、民族和語言的詞、其開頭字母必須大寫。如：Chines
