Explain that we use did not which we normally contract to didnt to make affirmative statements negative in the past simple tense. One the board write this structure. Explain that you are going to say five sentences about things you played yesterday. The students have to say the opposite.1. Listen, point and find didnt. Write these adverbs of frequency, a vertical arrow and the numbers beside them on the board. Get the students to look at the arrow and explain that always means all the time. Never means not at any time.2. Listen and say. Write some times on the board. Now write this structure on the board. Tell the students that you are going to point to a time. They must take turns to say an activity that is shown in the pictures and the other student ahs to point to it. 4.Now say. Get the students to make their own list. They can write out six things and put a tick by three of them and a cross by three of them. Now have the students give their list to their partner.
