Section B 1 1a-2e 一、Teaching methods: 1.Language goals:1) Through this lesson,the ss can master the following words:meaningless, action, action movie, cartoon, culture, famous, appear, become, rich, successful, might, main, reason, film, unlucky, lose, ready, be ready to, character, guy 2) master the following target language: I like to watch action movies because theyre exciting. John wants to watch talk shows because theyre enjoyable. One of the main reasons is that Mickey was like a common man. However, he was always ready to try his best. People today expect to see more than just a little mouse fighting bad guys. 2. Emotion attitude,value goal: 了解他人對不同的電影或電視劇的看法,明白不同的人有不同的喜好,從而明確人們喜好的差異性;了解世界其他國家的文化,形成跨文化的意思。二、The key and difficult points1. The key points:1) 掌握本課時出現(xiàn)的生詞及表達方式。 2) 進行聽力訓練,提高綜合聽說能力。 3)閱讀短文,獲得相關信息,提高學生們的綜合閱讀能力。2. The difficult points:1. 聽力訓練2. 閱讀2b部分的短文并完成相關要求。 三、Teaching process. Revision看圖畫讓學生們根據(jù)圖片提示來完成句子,注意動詞不定式的用法。 . Lead-in T: Show some movies or shows on the big screen. Let Ss discuss about them. Ask and answer what they think of them. . New wordsPresent some new words on the big screen. .Work on 1a 1. Work with your partners. Ask and answer about the movies or shows. 2. Let Ss talk about the movies or shows with the words in 1a. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer in front of the class. . Listening Work on 1b: 1. Tell Ss to listen and circle the description words you hear in the box in 1a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and circle the words. 3. Play the recording and check the answers with the Ss. Work on 1c: 1. T: Now please look at the chart in 1c. What do John and Mary think of the movies or shows? Youll listen to the tape again. Then try to fill in the blanks. 聽力指導:要抓別人對他們兩個人的看法所說的詞匯,也就是那些表示看法的形容詞。因此在聽的時候,應重點放在對劇目進行評價的形容詞上。2.
